Books InfoThe University of Saskatchewan has a website located at www.usask.ca.
Once there, prospective students will be greeted with a tab just for
them entitled, “Study Here”. People find links to information they may
need for undergraduate study, graduate study or even distance learning.
The next tab, “Work Here” is for people who are looking for jobs at the
campus. It includes jobs for students as well as those who are seeking
careers within the University. The next tab, “Discover Research”, gives
people several different links to all kinds of information about the
research that is performed at the University of Saskatchewan. For
example, anyone who is concerned about the way they conduct their
research at the University, can click on the “Research Ethics” tab to be
taken to the research ethics office.
The website, usask.ca, makes it easy for people to come visit the
University. The next tab at the top of the page, “Visit”, shows people
the links where they can book a tour or to see maps of the campus. The
tab after visit, “Activities”, informs everyone of the events that are
occurring on the campus. An events calendar lists everything that a
person could possibly want to find from academic events to cultural
ones. The last tab, “Give”, is a place where people can offer a donation
to the University.
To begin the process of becoming a student, it could not be easier on
www.usask.ca. In the middle of the page the words, “Become A Student”
stand out. People interested in the undergraduate program just need to
click on the button to the right to be taken to Bachelor’s degree
programs. The button after that is for graduate programs. For those who
are ready to apply, they can click on the “Apply” button right next to
the graduate button, but potential students will need to first open an
account before they can take advantage of the convenience of applying
online.
