school learning

High schools students, or those who are thinking of returning to college, have a website to turn to that will help them plan, find, apply and accept. On www.ontariocolleges.ca, the first tab, the Plan tab, takes students to the place where they will find out more information on Canada’s public colleges. A section for parents, where they can inquire into the cost of these colleges and how they can arrange to take a tour of the campuses they select, lets them discover something about the place where they will be sending their children. Students who do not have their parents seeking the information for them and international students, who do not have the option of easily traveling to the campuses, have facts available to them on Ontario.ca, also.

Once students or parents have found the colleges in which they are most interested, they can move on to the Find section. Under this tab, students have the opportunity to examine the different programs each college offers. The programs are broken up into four different regions of Western, Central, Eastern and Northern Canada, where the colleges in those areas are listed. Students can just click on the links to review their programs.

Now that the students have found their desired programs, they can begin to apply for them. Students learn everything they need to know about what needs to be done in order to make their application process a successful one such as what the admission requirements are; then they can apply for the program. When they have received offers from colleges and are ready to proceed with accepting them, they can click on the Confirm tab where they will be able to do so. To perform all of the actions above, students or parents will need to have an account where the offers will be stored and waiting to be accepted or declined.
