in a variety of categories: sports, action, puzzles, children’s games
and more. Miniclip players can create an account and profile for
themselves, where they can keep track of their high scores and rankings
on their own player pages. Users can create their own avatar, called a
“YoMe,” that they can personalize all they want, so it can look exactly
like them or it could be a random personality that they conjured up.
Players can also receive awards for the games they play. One example of
an award on the site is the Royal Wedding award, where you try to help
prepare for Prince William and Kate’s royal wedding by finding missing
objects to receive a certain amount of points and receive the award!
There are also league games on Miniclip.com where players can compete
with their friends and challenge them to beat their high scores. Users
can even create their own leagues for their friends and them, called “My
Friends League,” where they can compare high scores for many different
games. Games that qualify for this can be found with a “My Friends
League” label below them when users are playing. Miniclip automatically
adds new games to the league for players and friends so that they can
compete on new things and then go back and compare scores. Only
registered users have access to these leagues and the ability to keep
track of statistics, however. Miniclip also has games available for platforms other than the computer.
