school learning

UCAS is a website for connecting all sorts of people with a school of higher education in the UK. Higher education refers to education beyond high school, or the college and universities. Go to www.UCAS.com home page, and on the left hand side is the site menu organized to help find the information needed. There are many ways on this site to research which school would be the best for each individual to attend. By clicking on choices like Times, or Assurance Guide, or a map to visually see where the schools are located, all of these will help prospective students find out more about the colleges in the United Kingdom. This is the first step in getting your education, and it is also the time to also decide on the major that you would like to study, as some universities are known for teaching certain subjects. Take some time now to investigate all the possible options, and the rest of the selections will be much easier to make.

Students coming into the UK from other countries can click on a separate link and see what classes are available for them. Entry requirements, application instructions, books, and the admissions tests that are needed for entry are all listed in the left hand column. After taking your admission tests, click on ‘results’ for your scores. Everything is very organized and easy to locate.

Starting any new school though can be confusing at times, but UCAS.com tries to reduce that confusion as much as possible. Go to ‘UCAS terms explained’ and there is a list of all the ‘academic words’ used on this site and their definitions. Facts about tariffs, student finances, important dates, and events are all just one click away, with a FAQS section to answer your questions.
