jobsThe Indian Institute of Management Calcutta operates an extremely useful
web site at www.catiim.in. The site is easy to navigate and offers
users a plethora of information. Along the top there are thirteen links
to the web sites of the Indian Institute of Management that are located
in other cities. There is also a link to registration and test day
videos. Clicking on this will bring the user to appropriate links on
YouTube.
Along the left side of catiim.in, are six links. The first is for
announcements and press notes. Below this is a link for CAT
eligibility. Clicking on this leads to a page that explains all of the
requirements for prospective students. There are several further links
and PDF forms that are very useful to the prospective candidate. The
third link is for information related to the selection process of IIMs.
The next is for the sale of CAT 2011 vouchers. Below this is a link
for the CAT 2011 test sites. The final link on the left hand side is
for information on reporting for the test. Directly below these is a
listing of important dates.
Also on the home page on the right hand side are several PDF file
dealing with certificates proformas and forms. These include the
Candidate Identification Affidavit, the Final Year Certificate, the
NC-OBC Certificate, the SC/ST Certificate, the DA (PWD) Certificate, and
the DA Scribe Request Form. Below this is a link giving information
for Non-IIM Member Institutions. In the center of the page there are
links to give a quick tour of CAT. These include Important CAT
Disclaimers, Test Duration and Pattern, a CAT 2011 Registration Guide,
CAT 2011 Test Site Direction, a CAT 2011 Practical Guide, a CAT 2011
Practice Test, and the CAT 2011 Development, Scoring & Equating
Process. There is also a link for the CAT 2010 Scorecard. The catiim.in is easy to navigate and of course has links to frequently
asked questions and a contact page. Prospective students should find
everything they need on this site.
