This is a class action law suit filed by customers who have bought lawnmowers in the past 8 years that were defective. The list of manufactures is very entailed and lengthy. The deadline to claim a cash benefit under this law suit has passed and was 8/31/10 but the owner of any of these lawnmowers if purchased between 1/1/1994 and 1/1/2010 can still be awarded compensation under warranty relief provisions. Some of the brands that these manufactures produce are of the following: Yard-Man, Cub Cadet, Honda, Bolens, Exmark, Deere, Sabre, Scotts, Toro, Yard Machines, Craftsman, Troy Bilt, Husqvarna, Poulan, Poulan PRO, Lawn-Boy, Weed Eater, White Outdoor, Snapper, Simplicity, Brute, Murray, and other brands.

On august 16, 2010 Judge Adelman granted the plaintiffs in this lawsuit the right to collect the payment for cash disbursements and warranty relief. A motion of appeal has been filed by defendants and will likely be concluded with on or before 12/31/10. No claims can be made to any plaintiffs until all of the appeals have been heard and processed through the courts. If by this date no other defendants come forward to file appeals then disbursements can begin to be carried out to plaintiffs at this time. The deadline for claiming cash benefits has passed and the deadline for claiming warranty relief is 6/22/2011.
