options available to you is the BBC website. This website, based out of
the UK, has news from all corners of the globe, so no matter where you
live, there is news for you.
When you first arrive at the BBC.CO.UK website, you are greeted with the
top news stories from around the world. This includes business and
sports stories also. The very top stories are placed at the top of the
screen with a large image.
After arriving at the website you are able to select the kind of news
you want to take in. At the top of the screen there is your options for
News, Sport, Weather, Travel and several other feature. Click on the
option you want to see and you are taken to the new news format's main
page.
From here, you are able to select the next feature you want to view. The
main stories have a large picture in the middle of the page, while the
minor stores have smaller blurbs on the left side of the screen. When
you find an article you are interested in, you need to either click the
image or the title. This brings you to the story you selected. After you
have finished with the story you can either click the "Back" button on
your Internet browser, or you can select a similar article. At the
bottom of the page, there are similar articles to the one you just read.
Once you click on one of these links you are directed to the new page.
Whenever you want to return to the main page of the BBC website, you
need to click the "BBC" text icon in the upper, left corner of the page.
This takes you back to the front page and allows you to make any
additional news selections you want. And with the news constantly
changing, a new top story may appear.
