rumors. Along the header is a search box where readers can type in a
specific term they want to search, then click go. Directly below that is
a horizontal strip of clickable links including What's New, Randomizer,
Hot 25, FAQ, Odd News, Glossary, Newsletter, and Message Board. Below
the last three are clickable links labeled Contact Us, Submit a Rumor,
Submit a Photo/Video. Midway down the snopes.com home page are Facebook and Twitter logos, and
directly below them is a small rectangle labeled From the Archives.
This archives rectangle contains a humorous message pertaining to one of
their categories.
The site www.snopes.com is a directory divided into several genres, with
a clickable icon taking visitors to each. The icons are stacked
vertically and horizontally in alphabetical order within a rectangle
covering the bottom half of the home page. The categories are Autos, Business, Cokelore, College, Computers, Crime,
Critters, Disney, Embarrass, Fauxtos, Food, Fraud & Scams, Glurge,
History, Holidays, Horror, Humor, Inboxer Rebellion, Language, Legal,

When clicking on each category, visitors are taken to that category page
where it is further broken down into specific terms. For example, the
